There was a little wait, but it was definitely well worth it. There is no exaggeration with other reviews saying these are the best chilaquiles; the chilaquiles bandera con pollo were amazing. The portion size definitely didn't leave us hungry. To top it all off, the orange juice is freshly squeezed and the perfect combination between tart and sweet. This is a definite "must" visit when in San Miguel de Allende!

Ok this place is de-lish! It's small so plan accordingly. The food is cooked when you order it so don't be in a hurry, lol. The lemonade was mineral water with fresh lemon juice (still had some pits). So tart and refreshing. I had the noodles with chicken and vegetable soup. They didn't skimp on the chicken for sure. The meatballs I had for the main course we so amazing, such a great mix of flavors. The prices were reasonable and the quality is top notch. My only slight complaint is the meatballs portion size was small.

So good and fresh!
If you are looking for fresh, authentic Mexican breakfast look no further! This place is fantastic for a delicious, wholesome meal that won't leave you hungry after! I love the omelette with ham and cheese, my dad loves their eggs with bacon, my husband loves the enchiladas, and my stepmom loves scrambled eggs with cheese and pinto beans! Get the croissant too, it comes with fresh strawberry and guava marmalade!! Fast and friendly service and an extensive menu!! -

One of our best all-around dinners in San Miguel de Allende. Enchiladas were very good, those at my table also enjoyed tortilla soup and chicken/steak fajitas. The torta sampler with carne asada, chorizo and carnitas was absolutely fantastic.

Lovely little moderately priced restaurant specializing in Mexican cuisine and just a short stroll from the main plaza. Fellow diners were a well-heeled crowd and I could not determine if they were local or tourists.
While I enjoyed my fruit salad with yogurt, granola and honey, and cup of mint tea, I noticed gorgeous plates of breakfasts being served to neighboring tables. I wished that I had had an appetite for something that hearty. Alas I did not have an opportunity to return but will prioritize a visit my next trip back.
